Vicki Ginn

Vicki Ginn began her WVU Extension Service career in November 2006 as a development representative. Vicki coordinates media releases for major gifts and writes and coordinates the donor newsletter, brochures, and web copy.

She develops annual fund campaign direct mail materials and maintains the donor relations program. She also coordinates and manages logistics for major campus and state events, such as the State Fair of West Virginia and WVU Day at the Legislature.

Prior to joining Extension, she worked for 15 years for Burlington United Methodist Family Services Inc. in Keyser, W.Va., as resource development manager, public and volunteer relations manager, and director of church relations and development.

In that position, Vicki was responsible for managing such events as the Burlington Old-fashioned Apple Harvest Festival. Vicki received a bachelor’s degree from WVU in 1991. Her major was public relations and her minor was marketing.

Vicki is also a graduate of the National Planned Giving Institute at the College of William and Mary. She has held leadership positions with the United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare Ministries, the National Federation of Nonprofits, and the Mountain Highland Travel Council.
