Shawn Angus-MorganShawn Angus Morgan is a resident of Bridgeport, where she leads the local 4-H Club and serves as Treasurer of the Harrison County 4-H Leaders Association. Shawn has worked as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia for 8 years. She prosecutes federal crimes, primarily those involving controlled substances and firearms. She previously worked as a law clerk for United States District Judge Irene M. Keeley and as an associate at the Clarksburg office of Robinson & McElwee.
A native of Apple Grove in Mason County, she holds an undergraduate (BA, Liberal Arts, 1991) and law (JD, 1994) degrees from West Virginia University. While a WVU student, she was a member of Mountain Honorary, Public Interest Advocates, the Moot Court Board, Delta Delta Delta, and the Collegiate 4-H Club, was elected to the Student Administration Board of Governors and served as Pan-Hellenic Council President. Shawn is a member of Bridgeport United Methodist Church, where she serves on the Administrative Board and co-chairs the Council on Ministries with her husband, Tim, a retired Navy Commander employed in the biometrics field.
Tim and Shawn met at State 4-H Camp at Jackson’s Mill, where her family still volunteers each summer at ALPHA I. Their children, Luke and Rachel, love attending 4-H Camp.
